Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2011/2012.

I was thinking about an ice queen. Someone strong and noble and romantically powerful” is how Sarah Burton described Alexander McQueen’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection, a collection that is undoubtedly Sarah’s most crowning achievement to date. She carries on Alexander’s legacy, creating a stunning collection faithful to McQueen’s aesthetic, this time perfectly blended with Sarah’s ingenious creativity and masterful craftsmanship. The collection abounds with a series of extraordinary black and white dresses with stunning details, each of them designed and executed to perfection. Even though it seems impossible to single out just one look from this brilliant couture selection, our choice is definitely the stunning white gown whose mosaic like bodice was textured with tiny, broken porcelain pieces. Enjoy!
